Based in Salem, Oregon, Mid-Willamette Valley Chapter #32 of the Romance Writers of America® gathers members from as far away as the Oregon Coast, Central Oregon, and Northern California.

Our goal is to encourage high quality writing in all romance genres, to promote the public appreciation of the romance genre as a whole, and to further the careers of our member authors.

A Career Plan By Any Other Name…

Welcome to a brand spanking New Year! We see 2012 as a year full of hope and promise, and the new year is the time when it’s traditional to make resolutions for the future. Do we hear a faint, “Pshaw!” echoing down the interwebz? Maybe you don’t believe in making resolutions. Fair enough. How about setting writing goals for the year? If that thought has you cringing in horror, why? Is it that word, goal?
